Boston Planning Academy Pilot, Boston MA, USA

THE CHALLENGE:  Create an educational pilot program to empower everyday Bostonians to be part of the future planning of their city with the City of Boston Planning Department.

 HOW WE ADDRESSED IT:

• Active and responsive session evaluations to create a responsive and personalized experience

• Multidisciplinary team with local civic organizations

• 25 cohort members with two members under 18

• Honest and continuous dialogue with the City of Boston Planning Department

SURPRISE!  Participants enjoyed the content and building relationships with their peers so much that they suggested extending the sessions to three hours a week.
