THE CHALLENGE: Redesign a “naturally occurring” center in between two suburban towns to be more walkable and active.

HOW WE ADDRESSED IT:

• Close collaboration with the transportation prime consultant

• Pop-up events and a focus group with property owners

• Throughout existing zoning analysis

SURPRISE!   Seeing is believing. Visualizing the key recommendations in approachable graphics helped some opponents become supporters.
