PLAN: Mattapan, Boston MA, USA

This Neighborhood Plan was adopted by the Boston Planning and Development Agency Board on May 11, 2023. Its associated Zoning recommendations have also been approved by the Zoning Commission.  

The goals include equitable growth, economic development (jobs and business), and the creation of transit-oriented market-rate and affordable housing growth while preserving the neighborhood’s character and unique attributes. A pilot art intervention resulted in the creation of two murals by local artists.
