THE CHALLENGE: Co-create a community-driven Neighborhood Plan to foster equitable growth, spark economic development, and accelerate transit-oriented housing. And have it be adopted by the Boston Planning & Development Agency and backed by approved Zoning Commission recommendations.
HOW WE ADDRESSED IT:
Strategic zoning & growth advocacy
Transit-oriented housing & economic development
Local community-led murals
SURPRISE! No publicly owned sites were suitable for the large-scale murals preferred by the community. Relying on private ownership brought different motivations to the table.
